Subscription + Store Credit options

Hello,

I'm looking to implement a monthly subscription program that includes a monthly store credit issued- have any of you all done this? I'm looking for apps or code/tagging workarounds to get this as automated as possible. I would hate to have to manually issue store credits every month.

I ended up using a rewards app and set it up to reward anyone who purchases my subscription product with enough points to redeem for a free product. It wasn't ideal, but it also gave me a rewards program for people who only buy my product one-off. You can see my store at inkish.net and see how it works.

Does the reward gets added automatically or you have to manually add the rewards?

Also what is the app you are using for subscriptions

I am using Paywhirl Subscriptions, along with Glow: Loyalty Points

I set up my subscription as a product in its own category and then used the Glow app to award points for purchases in that category. It adds automatically every time they subscribe (first time) and renew (ongoing.) So far it's working great!
