The new state of Shopify support is abysmal — I do not feel that I have any options for support form shopify that address my immediate concerns regarding high value transactions (10k+). 

 

The support staff has not shown an ability to understand or resolve the issue. There is no option to get further help.

 

This is a big F_You to those of use who spend a lot of $$$$ with Shopify yet wouldn't benefit (at all) from Plus.

 

Maybe let your CEO know that you're loosing ground on the successful small businesses?

I have tried for MONTHS to contact shopify to stop my subscription. I’ve tried on several devices on both app and website several times to cancel my subscription and the step by step guide has never taken me to where I can actually cancel it! I’ve tried every Avenue to contact so I wouldn’t have to use the forum to make this complaint but frankly this is the only place I can contact anyone, if anyone?!

There is a cost of living crisis and this unwanted subscription has literally taken food off our table. 
It is so obvious that they purposely make it difficult to contact them and access the subscription cancel so they can continue to receive your money.

We're sorry to hear you've been unable to contact Support and cancel your Shopify subscription. I'll do my best to share steps, resources and guide you in the right direction to have this looked into and resolved.

 

You mentioned that you've tried contacting Shopify to cancel your subscription. To confirm, were you able to create a support request through the Help Center? In order to access our 24/7 live chat option to connect with a Support Advisor, you'll need to type your question to the Help Center Assistant and click Chat with a Support Advisor

 

I understand you have tried to cancel your subscription on the Shopify mobile app and on desktop, but you were unable to cancel. Are you able to share what specific issues you experienced when cancelling your subscription and deactivating your store? The steps should lead you to your Settings > Plan section of the admin where you can click Deactivate store. If you'd like, you can also share a screenshot of this section, so our team can guide you through the steps.
