All things Shopify and commerce
Hi all,
I bought a domain on Shopify.com and I verified the DNS settings with the Google code this morning because I created a business email with the domain name via Gmail.
Now, in order to receive emails through that business email, I'm being asked to add a gmail activation code into Shopify. However, when I try to copy and paste the Google-provided "TXT value" under my Shopify's: Domains -> Third-party email hosting -> Switch to email hosting, I keep getting a message in red that says, "There is 1 error. Email forwarding is not allowed for this domain" for G Suite.
Is there any way to resolve this? Thanks.
Hi, thanks for your response. i don't see the option to disable Email hosting.
Third-party email hosting only shows one button, "switch to email hosting." When I click on "swithc to email hosting," with "G Suite" selected and the TXT value from google added, it shows a red error box at the top that says,
"There is 1 error
Email forwarding is not allowed for this domain."
