Syncing a cart between multiple devices including a web version

Hello everyone,

we create a React Native app integrated with Shopify. We'd like to achieve a following feature. When a user adds a product to the cart using a web version we'd like to get this cart somehow and display it for mobile users in the app. Also when someone do the same in the app we'd like to see these products in the web shop. Is it even possible? I've checked the API specification, both Storefront and Admin and haven't found anything besides hooks. We thought we can subscribe to the carts/create topic using our API and attach the cart to the user in our database. When a user opens the app we would just simply get the ID from the database, fetch a proper shopping cart and display it. I've tried creating a new cart in the web shop and I got a hook properly. However trying to create a cart using Storefront API it doesn't work, no hook is being sent in this case. We would need this for syncing shopping cart between several mobile apps. Also creating a cart providing a customer's access token in Storefront doesn't affect the web shop. It looks like a web shop just uses cookies to manage shopping carts instead of relaying on the created one by API. How can we achieve this?

As a b2b shop we also really need this feature to have carts be in realtime sync amongst multiple devices. Usually b2b customers have multiple team members using the same webshop account and adding stuff to their carts all day, to place the order at the end of the day with the cart filled.

we have tested several cart "sync" apps but all of them had flaws.

its one of the biggest downsides of shopify for us.

Has anybody found a solution for this? we have also facing the same problem for the past week. 

Shopify Team,  we are creating a custom app with the help of shopify APIs but we are facing issue in Cart sync issue. Can you help us?

we are also still looking for a afforable solution.. only thing i found was offloaded  shopping b2b cart apps but those give other issues like the translations.
