Tags say approved but won’t boost

Hello!

we are having and issue every time we go to boost a post. We add the product tags on and they all seem to be approved (doesn’t say pending or anything) and then when we go to boost it, it says we can’t boost until all product tags have been approved. We have tried putting the tags on a few days before so they have ample time to approve, tried taking them off and re-adding them. All is fine until we go to boost and then we just end up removing the product tags in order to boost the post.

Rio here from the Shopify Community Team. I'd be happy to help here. 

It seems like this might be due to the products not being available on the Facebook Catalog. Once your products are approved on the catalog they should be able to be tagged without needing to be approved per post. You can follow our guide on publishing your products to Facebook and Instagram. 

Once that's done you should be able to tag posts and instantly boost them as they should not need review. 

Let me know if you're able to do this. 

I'd also suggest focusing on posting reels to Instagram! Instagram is continuously trying to develop reels for the platform and you can get great organic engagement for your posts!

Let me know if this is able to get your posts boosted, if not we can also try the workaround of using ads manager to tag and boost your posts.

hey im having the exact problem all products are approved and the shops on both instagram and facebook are running but it still does not let me boost my posts that have product tags it states 

"post not promotable: Promotions can't be created until all tagged products are approved. Please try again later."
