What is the reason that the Returning customer rate data of the new version of the analysis will be higher than the Returning customer rate data of the old version of the analysis?
Before shopify analytics was updated, my shopify analytics board the Returning customer rate was 25.04%, and after shopify analytics was updated with little change, my shopify analytics board the Returning customer rate was 28.16%.

The increase in your Returning Customer Rate after Shopify Analytics was updated is likely due to changes in how Shopify calculates or tracks the data. Shopify may have refined its identification process for returning customers, improving accuracy in recognizing repeat buyers. Small adjustments in data processing or tracking methods can cause slight shifts in metrics. It's possible that the new system captured more repeat customers who may not have been counted before due to these enhancements in data accuracy.
