The header settings not showing up on reload.

Experiencing an unusual issue: In the customization settings, I can see my header settings update, such as selecting the menu and updating the logo images. However, on the front end, the settings appear on the initial load but disappear upon reloading. I have verified the header-group.json file, and the settings are there.
