The images that the customers uploaded in their sessions but abandoned in their cart,

Hi all,

For the images that the customers uploaded in their sessions but abandoned in their cart, the images will still stay in the shopify CDN , might I know if those will be auto deleted after a period of time?

Hi @zionlkc 

Shopify's data retention policies, abandoned checkouts are retained for three months before being automatically removed from your admin dashboard.

However, even after an abandoned checkout is deleted, the associated images may remain on the CDN. Shopify does not automatically delete these files from the CDN, which means they could persist indefinitely unless manually removed. You can delete the files manually if you want by following the below steps:

• Navigate to the Content > Files section in your Shopify admin panel.
• Locate and delete the specific images associated with abandoned carts.
