Trying to create a discount code but the page wants me to apply it to specific collections or products…see attachment. It is doing my head in…can someone help me please?

I want the code to apply to the whole site. I have done it before,…but today, I have to apply it to a collection or products.

i have a screenshot but I can’t attach a graphic, which seems absurd….

apologies if this post is up twice. The system crashed on me so I don’t know if  it posted last time. I think that it did not…I’ve been 40 mins on this and it WILL NOT POST I need a unique title

Sorry you were having trouble submitting your community post, I'm glad it's working now. When it comes to creating a discount for your entire store and not just a product or collection, you will want to create an 'amount off offer' as shown in this photo: 

You can also follow the steps here in this help doc, for more information. Once you create your discount code, or have it be applied automatically, the discount will exist for any products added to the customers cart. Please let me know if you have more questions about this.

1. Make an automated collection called "All" that contains all products with inventory stock > 0.
2. Make your discount apply to this "All" collection
