Time to transfer Domain? DNS?

I want to transfer my domain from squarespace to Shopify. How long does that usually take? 

Also, do I need to delete all the custom DNS I created in squarespace before transferring? Or will it reset and/or Shopfiy automatically adjust it?

Based on Squarespace's guide, it could take up to 15 business days to complete.

You should save all your custom DNS records before transferring, as Shopify would not make a copy of the custom DNS, and you have to add them again when the transfer is completed.
