when i click on my shop tab, i see all the collections in a random order. In admin, under navigation and menu, i selected all collections to go on that tab and i don't know how to choose the order of how the collections are displayed.
On the left side bar (still in admin), if i go under products, then collections, all the collections are listed in a different random order than they are on the website (and it seems i can grab and move them up or down like i can for products within a collection) so really i don't know what to do as i really don't want those 1st collections to come on the first row...

I contacted shopify several times, they said they cannot help

Hi @mattadkins  For the /collections page this is an advanced theme customization when a theme doesn't already support this feature often found a collection-list or featured-collection sections etc.

If code savvy there is an out of date guide, for vintage themes only , using a nav menu to control the order.

https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/themes/themes-by-shopify/vintage-themes/customizing-...

More modern solutions is to make this a setting, or based on metafields, and or metaobjects.

Merchants that need this customization for their customers need to contact me for services.

thank you, we use the theme "studio", would it be suitable to customise the
