Trying to Have top level navigation point to Shop All Products in Dawn Theme

Hi, I had a cistomized dawn theme where this worked, not trying to revert to standard Dawn theme, and not sure why it won't work.

In my navigation, I have the top two navigation point to All Products, but for some reason these won't work. I need to select and actual collection ( 3 nested levels down will work), there is no shop all available.

Can anyone please tell me me why the shop all products won't work with this theme?  and how I can fix this? Thank you!

thanks, I have shown my navigation link as such in the screen shot I provided. When I use my other theme it works fine. It is only with the Dawn theme it does not work. Thus, I can assume it is something to do with the theme? I have it linked to all products, but nothing happens when it is selected.

I spoke to Shopify, seems this is a limitation of the Dawn theme. Will need to find a way to customize. any advice on how to do so? a snippet of code that would work?
