Turn off abandoned cart emails

Hello,

Can someone please tell me how to turn off abandoned cart emails ? I go to settings-->notifications however I cannot see an option to turn them off.

Hi, @Petya 

Elle here from Shopify. 

You can turn off automated abandoned checkout emails within your admin under Settings > Checkout by deselecting the option here:

I don't have this option. Maybe this is because I am still on the trial ?

That would be why! You will see the option appear once you select a plan.

Hello - I am having this same issue. I have had a plan for a long time. When I click into Settings - Notifications - Abandoned Checkout - there is no tickbox as you have shown. 

This is what i have....

password is rankin.

You need to go into Settings page then click on the Checkout section.  It is towards the bottom just under "email marketing". For me it is the second to last section. Make sure to save after updating.

I have that Email marketing section, but it only gives me the option to show a sign-up option at checkout, nothing about abandoned cart...

Does anyone know if there is still an option to turn of abandoned cart emails. It looks like the interface has changed since Shopify last gave advice.

Oh, mine doesn't have that! goes from Email marketing right to Checkout language...

I'm on a plan, but my site is not live yet, that doesn't seem like it should change that option.

Hi Elle - this doesn't seem to be the case on Shopify Summer '22. Could you provide directions for turning off abandoned checkout in shopify Summer '22?

Try this. I leaving out screenshot since it will look different.

Settings >> Checkouts & Account 

Then scroll all the way down to abandoned checkout emails. Uncheck the box and save. It is pretty far down the page.  Make sure to hit save.
