Turned on Shopify Payments but Credit card options aren't showing

We turned on Shopify Payments this morning. Google and Meta pay now show up as payment options but none of the credit card options show. Any idea on what we need to alter?

Here are the cards we turned on.

Hi @ninsights,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. I'm happy to provide some assistance with Shopify Payments, to ensure this gets resolved. To confirm I'm fully understanding, customers are not provided the option to enter their credit card details when checking out?

To share some insight, Shopify Payments accepts all major credit cards (i.e Visa, Mastercard, American Express, etc) at checkout. There wouldn't however, be an option to individually select what credit card you'd like to complete your purchase with.

In the case you're not seeing the credit card option within the Payment section of the checkout process (as per screenshot), please feel free to connect with us directly. This will allow for our advisor team to take a closer, as we don't have access to any account specific information through the Community.

To contact us, you can:

  • Head over to our Support Page.
  • Log into your shop.
  • Select the topic 'Starting a store'.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page to view all available support options.

Please let me know if you have any other concerns.

Hi!

I am currently struggling with this issue as well. I have shopify payments setup but looking at the checkout and making sure everything looks good the credit card option is not popping up. What do I need to do to fix this? I tried contacting you directly but the shopify help center is not allowing me to do this as there is an error.

Hi @MannyChavez,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I'm happy to provide some assistance with this request. To confirm I'm fully understanding, is there an issue with the checkout process or with entering credit card details?

After taking a closer look at your shop, it seems I wasn't able to replicate. I am provided the option to enter my credit card details in order to complete my purchase.

If you're not seeing the Payment section as outlined in the screenshot above, you can  connect with us directly. This will allow for our support team to take a closer look, as I wouldn't have access to any account-specific information through the Community.

As you're experiencing some troubles accessing our Help Center, I'd recommend completing some local troubleshooting. For ease, I've gone ahead and listed a few steps below that you can attempt to see if this helps to resolve:

  • Clear your Cache and Cookies.
  • Access the shop in an Incognito Tab.
  • Try Another Device (i.e a cell phone).
  • Try using Another Broswer (i.e Safari or Firefox).
  • Try accessing from the Shopify Mobile App.
  • Try Restarting your device.
  • Make sure your device is Up To Date.

After attempting all of the steps outlined above, you can try to connect with us again Please let me know however, if you continue to experience troubles.

I look forward to your response.

I'm in the process of setting up my shopify store.  I believe it's almost ready but when I went to test it, I got to the checkout page and this is what I saw.  There's a button there.  It works and will take you to the payment page... you just can't see it.  I've tried changing the color scheme on the page to see if it's just hidden by the background color but that didn't seem to make any difference.  The page is https://forkandbellfitnesssupplements.com/cart... not sure what to do next.

Same thing is happening to me. Curious if and how you resolved this?
