This is our case:
We are setting up a Shopify store for a clothing brand.
The products of this brand are going to also be available at a physical store. Since this physical store is still under construction, we are considering having the physical store run under Shopify (POS) as well, so that we have a unified management/inventory system.
So, to sum up:
- Physical Store has many brands (Brand A, Brand B, Brand C, etc.)
- Brand A has its own store front (eshop)
What would be the best approach to have them both under one inventory?
We would like the eshop to have only products of Brand A. However, the Shopify inventory/warehouse should have products of many other brands (not appearing in the eshop).
I guess one option would be to have products of other brands not available in Online Store sales channel. This way only Brand A products appear in the eshop.
What happens if in the future we want to have another eshop, just for products of other brands? Could we have a new Online Store channel, just for these products? Do we need a new Shopify account?
I hope I made clear what our issue is.
