All things Shopify and commerce
hi there,
surely this has been mentioned but was unable to find a post with the exact issue - and don't know if it's bug or a gap!
a common view of from the Products list I want is :
Sort by: Created
Order: Newest First
As we get new products created in draft all the time, and I want to find these with a single click ideally by a 'View'. This does not seem possible at the moment.
Is this possible to save/configure via Shopify standard interface without having to click the sort button each time I want to see it?
great, how?
You can change sort by newest in Store admin > Products > Collections > edit Collections > select sort by default option and save collection

hi, I am talking about in Shopify Admin - see attached.
Have you actually tried this? is this a chatGPT reponse?!
step 2 should be 'sort':
The FILTERS get saved, but not the SORT ORDER.
Yeah, NO. Sort order is not saved, just the filter
Agreed. This should be such a simple issue to fix, not sure why it's still not working.
Hi. After I set it to "Created" and "Newest First", I just bookmarked the link in the browser. Now I have access to it with one click.
