Unable to see editor section when I try to add new page or edit existing page

Hi, could anyone help me out with this issue. I don't know why but all of a sudden the editor box is missing when I try to edit my existing pages. I have the same issue when I try to add a new page. Clicking the Show HTML tag shows a small box which can be extended but that's not what I want. Adding screenshots for reference
