My 14 year old set up an account. Then he thought he cancelled it. €39 was taken from his account last week. Surely this can't be legal

He might accidentally purchased the Shopify subscription plan and was not properly deactivated the account. If it is not more than 7 days from the date of purchase you can try to request for subscription refund.
