Unsubscribed customers receive Marketing emails such as Abandoned Checkout

I am wondering why unsubscribed customers still receive marketing emails such as Abandoned Checkout automation etc. Aren't they supposed to not receive marketing emails?

I am just wondering why Shopify keeps sending marketing emails to unsubscribed customers.
