My store is factorysuperbike.com

I am unable to convert my users somehow. they come to the cart page and are dropping off a ton. P.s. i need help. I have been getting good sales in the past and in the last 4-5 days, i barely have any sales ! I need to find a solution to this asap. I get the most traffic from Mobile and in the USA.

Any help would be appreciated!

Analyze Cart and Checkout User Experience (Mobile-Focused):

  • Since your traffic is primarily mobile, ensure the cart and checkout processes are smooth and easy to navigate on smaller screens. Common issues include slow loading times, pop-ups that obscure the checkout button, and confusing or excessive steps.
  • Tip: Check your cart and checkout experience using tools like Google’s Mobile-Friendly Test and Shopify’s built-in analytics. Also, test the process on a variety of devices to catch any device-specific issues.

2. Reduce Friction at Checkout:

  • Guest Checkout: Allow customers to check out as guests, as requiring account creation can discourage users.
  • Payment Options: Ensure multiple payment methods are available, including one-click options like Apple Pay, Google Pay, or PayPal for mobile users.

3. Exit-Intent Pop-Ups or Cart Recovery Emails:

  • Capture users who are leaving with an exit-intent pop-up offering a small discount or reminder, especially effective if you offer free shipping or discounts for new customers.
  • Set up cart abandonment emails in Shopify to automatically follow up with users who leave items in their cart. This can include a reminder or a small incentive to complete their purchase.

4. Review Ads and Landing Page Consistency:

  • Ad Messaging: Make sure that your ad copy aligns with the products users see on the landing page. Any disconnect here could lead to drop-offs.
  • Landing Page Optimization: Ensure your landing page is focused and immediately presents the benefits of your products, with clear calls to action. If you’re running Performance Max campaigns, use detailed audience signals to help Google optimize better for your audience.

5. Optimize Product and Cart Page for Urgency and Trust:

  • Trust Signals: Add customer reviews, secure payment icons, and trust badges near the cart to reassure customers of the product’s quality and secure payment.
  • Scarcity Tactics: Display stock levels or messages like “Limited Stock” to encourage quicker decisions, or show a countdown for limited-time offers.

6. Analyze Site Speed & Technical Issues:

  • Slow loading times can lead to cart abandonment. Use Google PageSpeed Insights or Shopify’s speed reports to identify slow-loading pages, especially for mobile. Even a small speed increase can significantly boost conversion rates.

7. Test and Track Changes with A/B Testing:

  • Implement one change at a time and monitor its impact on cart abandonment rates. You can use Shopify’s apps or Google Optimize for A/B testing variations in messaging, button placements, or cart/checkout designs.

A mix of these steps should help pinpoint and resolve potential issues to improve conversion rates quickly. Let’s also make sure the changes lead to lasting improvements by analyzing traffic and conversion metrics after implementing them.

It's possible that you are getting too generic traffic. Normally after 100 clicks you should get 1 sale, per product.

So either your targeting too broad, or too many products.

Try using standard shopping, with a few top selling products.

Hi @nrnjnrkmr,

I am from Mageplaza - Shopify solution expert.

Your website doesn’t attract customers to buy products despite you having CTR at over 4%- high rate.

I don’t see your ads so I can’t make detailed recommendations on your landing page. But here are some recommendations from “Databox”. You can check more in this article

“When CTR is high but the conversion rate is low that indicates a problem with the landing page, which is most commonly due to a lack of effective calls-to-action (CTA) on the page. The solution is to create a clear CTA like a “Buy Now” or “Read More” button. The CTA can be a clickable image overlaid with a small amount of text or a simple button.”

Additionally, a high cart abandonment rate can be particularly frustrating for your business, especially when you’ve invested heavily in getting people to your site in the first place.  A high cart abandonment rate represents potential customers who chose not to become customers. This is also a reason causing low conversion rates.

  • You can remind your customers about the products left in their carts and encourage them to finalize their purchase by:
    • Email Reminders: Send emails to customers who abandon their carts, reminding them of their items.
    • Incentives: Offer a discount or free shipping to encourage them to complete their purchase.

I hope my suggestions are helpful, feel free to give me any feedback. Good luck!
