I was reviewing my website and noticed that my total inventory had dropped to 25,000, even though it showed 31,000 just yesterday. I panicked, worried that some of my products might have been deleted. I reached out to Shopify support, but they advised me to check each product individually. Has anyone experienced something similar, or have suggestions on how I can recover the 6,000 units of missing inventory?

Hey, I’ve actually seen this happen before. It’s usually not that products are deleted, but something like an inventory adjustment, app sync issue, or changes tied to different locations. I’d recommend checking the inventory history on a few of the affected products to see if there were any unexpected changes. Also, double check if any apps or staff made bulk updates recently. I'm seeing a similar thing in the last couple of weeks; multiple examples where I have inventory available at a single fulfilment location though unable to add that quantity to cart (and checkout).
