All things Shopify and commerce
We turned Shopify Payments on 12 days ago. I received no communication at all. You are holding onto all of our sales payouts over 20k! Please release asap. This is crippling our business, we are florists and have an extremely busy week with Mother’s Day this week and no cash flow !!! This is costing us money.
Actually, Shopify sometimes places holds on large payouts for new accounts as part of their risk assessment process. The best thing to do is check Settings > Payments > Shopify Payments to see if there are any pending verification requests (like additional ID or business documents).
The only solution I think is that trying to reach out to Shopify Support via live chat or phone and clearly explain the urgency, emphasizing how it’s affecting your ability to fulfill time-sensitive orders. If your account is still under review, ask if they can partially release funds to keep your operations running.
And, I think you should consider diversifying your payment methods (PayPal, Stripe, or manual bank transfers) to avoid relying solely on Shopify Payments during peak sales periods
Hope you will be fine 🙂
