All things Shopify and commerce
Hello shopify community. I've been using shopify for over a year now and it was, for the most part, fine and dandy. Until the end of December when I was told that apparently my store that's been up for over a year is "Against guidelines". Keep in mind I was told this before, but after submitting some files I was let off the hook, twice actually. But this time I was met with someone the shopify user community may know, Raoul. He's a nightmare to deal with, not because of how he talks to you, but the fact that he doesn't talk to you at all. He sent me an email that my store, my only source of income was taken down. I reached back out to him and it was crickets for 2 weeks, until I decided to reach out to shopify support. They told me to reply in more depth and there's a higher likelihood that I would get a response. To no avail as another 2 weeks past, and I decided to reach out to shopify support again. All they did was confirm that my email was received. Keep in mind in the original email Raoul sent claimed that "my payouts would be sent within 2-3 days". Its been over a month and I need that money to send my customers their packages. Now my customers think I'm scamming them even though I physically cannot ship out any orders due to my only source of income being taken away overnight. I've shipped as many orders as I can with my own money. My question is how can such a great company as shopify, have such bad employees when it comes to the most important part of a business, the money. I NEED my money, ASAP. If anyone can help please let me know, maybe I'll need to get and international arbitration agent, but I don't want to have to.
Hi @YSR7
Thank you for sharing that experience here, and I am sorry to hear that the communication around this situation has not been the greatest. If you were told that you were supposed to have your payouts, but that hasn't happened yet, then I definitely want to take a closer look at this.
Can you please share your most recent ticket number about this situation with me here? I can't review tickets directly myself, but I can flag them for an escalated review by our support team. This ensures that the ticket is being handled properly and with the correct communication around what has happened.

i would recommend you open WordPress website and it is much cheaper and gives you a better result i didnt even open my online shop started as advanced and changed to basic and they billed me two times more then 800$ as advanced even though i changed and it was a error on there behalf and then they wouldn't take any responsibility for it just makes you not want to work with a company that wants to drink and scam there own clients
Thanks! What's the difference between wordpress and shopify? Does wordpress make it so you don't get taken down for goofy stuff like this?
