Using Shopify POS Without SSN/ITIN

Hi, I am currently in the process of immigrating to the U.S. and expect to receive my ITIN within the next 3 months. I have an employee who will be handling physical sales in my store. Will I still be able to use Shopify's POS system to process in-store transactions without my SSN or ITIN during this time? If so, are there any specific steps or requirements my employee and I need to follow?
