Videos on blog posts lagging on dawn theme

hello,

I need some help with my videos on my website. 

When i upload videos on my blogs they lagg alot. Could this have something to do with the size of the video?

what can i do to fix this?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi @dilaraucar ,

You can using other video platform as Youtube, Vimeo and only embed link.

By this way, we will no-longer care about size of video

hi, so i just uploaded the video on shopify files and then used that link to embedd the video with this code this in the blog post:

Could this be the reason why its lagging?

Hi @dilaraucar ,

As you can see my screenshot when i open devtools when load your video. It too big (80MB) and about 35s to load full. This is mean reason of lagging. When you using embed via Youtube, Vimeo, it will not load when you load blog post => optimize for load time
