RustysOffroad.com
Our 'View Cart' button doesn't function on the homepage and category pages but works fine on the product pages.
Only recent addition was adding a slider app to the home page.
Any guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
@elstretcho could you please share your store URL?
Do you need something other than RustysOffroad.com, the first line of the post?
Oh sorry, I just read the post. could you please share the screenshot of the view cart button? I have checked add I can add the product in cart
Adding to cart isn't the issue. It's going to the cart using the icon up in the menu that isn't working.
Heyo,
I took a look and it seems it could be because of the easy product addons app.
Reason is due to a secondary jquery script being loaded in by them. I believe when you click the cart icon it is basically switching it on/off quickly, like if you were to turn a lightswitch on then off very quickly each time you click.
Can you try removing that app and test the cart icon again?
Also make sure you back up any information for that application, I am not 100% positive this is it, but its the main difference I've found between why it works on the product page and doesn't work elsewhere.

Disabling it seems to work for me on two different browsers. Any suggestion on how to go about allowing both to work?
There's 2 options there:
1. Reach out to the app developers and let them know their app causes conflicts because they import a version of jquery even though the theme you have already includes a version of jquery.
2. Modify the cart icon and the logic behind it that opens and closes the modal.
Personally, I would do both. The app dev should know they way they are handling importing of scripts causes problems on your theme (and probably for others too) AND I would modify the underlying logic for that cart button since it's something within your control.
It may also be a relatively easy fix but I can't say for sure unless I was looking at the actual theme code. You can get in touch with me.
