I made a purchase on October 22nd for 65.95€ for a a Modern Crib from MILU BRAND apparently based in Canada and which publicity for this crib was all over Social Media (so I trusted to make the purchase). Last update in their website regarding my order it was on the 24th stated it was sent, and since I didn't get a tracking number, I contacted the brand a few times trough emails, and the answer was: "no estimated delivery time due to a delay with the supplier, and no tracking number" and the estimated delivery was between Nov. 5th and 13th. There's no more updates and the Item is also no longer in Stock at the store anymore. Even thought they reply the emails there is no solution. So on Nov 20th I requested a return/refund, and they answer the next day with the same answer: "We’re actively working on your request and will keep you updated with any progress as soon as possible". They took the money out of my credit card, but now more than 10 business days have passed and I still haven't received my money back. I still haven't been able to buy a new crib because I'm missing that money in order to do so.
So can I get a solution from Shopify. I suppose you check backgrounds from the vendors who wants to work through your name, so buyers don't get scammed.

It's disappointing when you trust a brand based on their online presence, and then face delays or lack of communication. I would suggest continuing to reach out, but also consider filing a chargeback with your credit card provider if the refund isn't processed soon. They may be able to help recover your money if the merchant is unresponsive. Also, it might be worth checking if the brand has a presence on social media or a review site where others might share their experiences, as sometimes that pushes businesses to resolve issues faster. Hope it gets sorted for you soon!

Thank you I will try to do that, ask for chargeback and try to gain my money back, because it's been more than a month that the payment was made, and now the store shows as currently unavailable, which makes me thinks that probably the store was fake... But I think Shopify should verify better all the vendors, specially when it uses their domains. I feel so sad to have fall into the trap. So in case of scams like this, legal actions could be taken.
