All things Shopify and commerce
Our store on Shopify was hacked - Shyne Jewelers.
We have a fine jewelry store front on Shopify, which was hacked on a Sunday early morning, preventing us from reacting to the attack rapidly. The hacker disconnected our domain from our store, and placed it on his domain, creating redirects for all our products. Our team immediately reached out to Shopify Support Team, and spoke to multiple support agents to get the security team involved. We received a response from account security team, specifying that our store access is restricted and requesting relevant documents to confirm business ownership. As we have submitted all documents and awaiting response, we still would like to make it clear that our domain shynejewelers.com (shynejewelersphilly.myshopify.com) was disconnected from our Shopify store front and transferred to the hacker's domain. As security team has mentioned, the store itself is still active, however it is on hacker's address, since he redirected our link. Please disable the store right away, since it is fraudulent activity and the website does not belong to this domain's owner. Screenshot attached: if you search our products in Google, (for instance an initial pendant) and click on its URL - you are going to be redirected to the hacker's redirected landing.
