All things Shopify and commerce
I normally write my blog post drafts in a Google doc and then copy/paste it into the blog editor and never had an issue but now I am dealing with one with one of my client´s websites.
This is how it looks inside the blog editor:
and this is how it looks in the frontend...
Thoughts?
Hi @Nathan_SmithSEO, welcome to the community.
The frontend styling and formatting of the content completely depends on the theme you use. From the screenshot, it looks like your theme does not have the correct styles for list items.
The ideal approach would be to reach out to the theme devs and ask them to look into this issue. Hopefully, they'll fix this.
Or, you could hire a developer to do this for you.
Hello there,
Instead of just copy pasting, while not just try ctrl+shift+V?
That is when you copy the text from your google docs, instead of the normal traditional ctrl+V, try ctrl+Shift+V otherwise known as paste as plain text.
Let me know if this work for you.
otherwise known as paste as plain text
This will remove all formatting coming from the Google doc, meaning, any H2 and H3 subheadings.
I tried your suggestion and I manually formatted everything and it didn´t worked.
What about the other solution above?
btw, if you could share a live link of the article, it'd make it way easier to figure out what's wrong.
