What am I doing wrong with my website?

I am working everyday to improve my website. I am marketing more, just started Email marketing with the few subscribers that I have. Looking for answers on landing page issue maybe being the problem? Maybe it’s product description? Bounce rate is an issue. I am at a loss. I am in the process of fixing my collections covers. Please see pics. Looking for insight. I won’t be able to afford the financial loss again this year if I cannot find the resolutions and I definitely cannot afford to hire an expert at this time. Thank you in advance. Hi @DaisyDesigns,

I am from Mageplaza - Shopify solution expert.

I would be happy to review your website and provide feedback on the performance. Here are my recommendations to improve your conversion rate:

1. Monitor Your Cart Abandonment Rate

A high cart abandonment rate can be particularly frustrating for your business, especially after investing significantly in attracting visitors to your site. This issue indicates that many potential customers are deciding not to complete their purchases, contributing to low conversion rates.

To address this, you can remind customers about the items left in their carts and encourage them to complete their purchases by:

  • Email Reminders: Send emails to customers who abandon their carts, reminding them of their items.
  • Incentives: Offer a discount or free shipping to motivate them to finalize their purchases.
  • For more detailed guidance, refer to an article from the Shopify Help Center

2. Adding review section

Adding a dedicated review section would allow customers to share their experiences, providing valuable feedback for other potential buyers. Customer reviews not only build trust but also serve as social proof, which can significantly boost conversions. Here is a reference:

I don’t see your ads so I can’t make detailed recommendations on your landing page. But here are some recommendations from “Databox”. You can check more in this article

“When CTR is high but the conversion rate is low that indicates a problem with the landing page, which is most commonly due to a lack of effective calls-to-action (CTA) on the page. The solution is to create a clear CTA like a “Buy Now” or “Read More” button. The CTA can be a clickable image overlaid with a small amount of text or a simple button.”

I hope my suggestions are helpful. Good luck!

Hi, Thank you for your time, and kind words and suggestions. I do have a
review section, just not many reviews yet, but I think there are 4-5. I
just started the last month with email automation for abandon carts, etc.
Could you elaborate more on the landing page? When visiting my website,
there is an immediate Shop Now button that takes one to all my collections?

Thank you for your insight!

Hi @DaisyDesigns,

Thanks for replying.

It's better that you could highlight your promotional collections, "Best Sellers" and "On Sale" on the homepage to catch the attention of customers.

It can drive attention to popular and discounted products, encouraging visitors to engage more with your site.

Try collecting as much content from customers as possible. Not just reviews but videos, images, stories and more. Social proof is the primary driver of early growth. Without it, shoppers have no reason to trust you.

How much work have you put into SEO? You seem to have decent traffic. The problem is people aren't satisfied with what they see after clicking on a page. Bounce rates for landing pages and product pages are always super tricky.
