Hi @Appolon12,

I am from Mageplaza - Shopify solution expert. I would be happy to review your website and provide feedback on the performance. Here are my recommendations to improve your UX/UI:

1. Improve promotional banner and section on Homepage

You should add seasonal banners for current promotions or collections (e.g., Summer Sale, Winter Collection) to catch the attention of customers.

Additionally, featuring sections like "Best Sellers" and "On Sale", New arrivals on the homepage can drive attention to popular and discounted products, encouraging visitors to engage more with your site. Here is a reference:

2. Improve search feature

You should make search bar with large product images, show price and discount information, including color search, collection search, etc functionality to enhance search bar. This will help customers find their needs quickly, enhancing their shopping experience.  Below is a reference:

Besides, here are my recommendations to improve your conversion rate:

Monitor Your Cart Abandonment Rate

A high cart abandonment rate can be particularly frustrating for your business, especially after investing significantly in attracting visitors to your site. This issue indicates that many potential customers are deciding not to complete their purchases, contributing to low conversion rates.

To address this, you can remind customers about the items left in their carts and encourage them to complete their purchases by:

  • Email Reminders: Send emails to customers who abandon their carts, reminding them of their items.
  • Incentives: Offer a discount or free shipping to motivate them to finalize their purchases.
  • For more detailed guidance, refer to an article from the Shopify Help Center

I don’t see your ads so I can’t make detailed recommendations on your landing page. But here are some recommendations from “Databox”. You can check more in this article

“When CTR is high but the conversion rate is low that indicates a problem with the landing page, which is most commonly due to a lack of effective calls-to-action (CTA) on the page. The solution is to create a clear CTA like a “Buy Now” or “Read More” button. The CTA can be a clickable image overlaid with a small amount of text or a simple button.”

I hope my suggestions are helpful. If you find it good comment, it would be appreciated if you could “Like” or “Mark as Solution”. Thank you and Good luck!

Hi,

Here’s how you can improve your store, increase conversions, and ensure your site is professional and optimized for sales:

  1. Design & User Experience: Keep your design polished and organized. Simple navigation and easy access to key pages (home, product, checkout) can help retain customers.
  2. Mobile Optimization: Ensure your site is fully optimized for mobile devices. Test for smooth navigation and fast loading on smaller screens.
  3. Clear CTAs: Make buttons like "Add to Cart" or "Buy Now" easy to find and prominent on your pages.
  4. Page Load Time: Slow load times can lead to abandoned carts. Run your site through Google PageSpeed Insights to check for performance issues. We tested your site https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-therawcam-com/44txw3u04c?form_factor=mobile and found that the LCP issue might be caused by a popup. Consider fixing it by ensuring the full page loads before showing the popup or reducing unused JavaScript.

After applying these changes, check your site’s performance again to see the impact on Core Web Vitals (like LCP, CLS, etc.) and get more actionable insights.

If you find your Core Web Vitals are still low, you could try Website Speedy. It helps improve load times without requiring technical expertise and offers a 14-day free trial.

  1. Abandoned Cart Recovery: Many customers abandon their carts before completing a purchase. Set up abandoned cart emails to remind users to complete their purchase. Offering a small discount or free shipping can incentivize them to return and finalize their order.
  2. Upselling & Cross-selling: Use apps like Frequently Bought Together to suggest related products during the shopping process. This can increase the average order value and help you maximize sales.
If this fixed your issue, Likes and Accept as Solution are highly appreciated.

Hey @Appolon12 ,

I had a look at your store, therawcam.com, and totally understand the frustration of spending $300 without seeing sales. The fact that your creatives are doing well shows you’re drawing the right audience—so that’s a win! But the disconnect might be happening on your site.

Here’s some tailored feedback:

1. First Impressions (Homepage):

  • Your homepage should immediately highlight the nostalgia and creativity your retro cameras bring. Right now, the minimalistic vibe is great, but it could use a punch of personality. Maybe a hero banner with a catchy tagline like:
"Capture timeless moments with a retro twist."

2. Product Pages:

Your current description is great in terms of building trust (free shipping, 30-day trial, happy customers), but it could dive deeper into the emotional connection retro cameras offer. For example:

  • Add a brief story about why retro cameras are making a comeback or how they’re perfect for creating vintage vibes.
  • Include a bullet point about what makes your product unique compared to competitors.

3. Build Trust with Social Proof:

  • Since you mention "Over 1000 Happy Customers," leverage that by adding customer reviews and user-generated content directly on the product page. Photos or short videos from customers can be a game-changer.

4. Checkout Flow (Paid Tool):

Consider investing in iCart (a paid tool) to enhance your cart experience. With iCart, you can:

  • Show a free shipping progress bar to create urgency.
  • Offer complementary products (like camera accessories or vintage film reels) as upsells.
  • Display trust badges to reassure customers.

5. Free CRO Tips:

  • Add a sticky add-to-cart button on product pages. It’s a simple way to make purchasing easier for visitors.
  • Create a sense of urgency by highlighting limited stock or time-sensitive offers. Something like: "Only 3 left in stock—order now!"

6. Focus Areas:

  • The retro vibe is your selling point, so lean into that in all aspects of your branding. Use warm, nostalgic tones in your banners and icons to evoke the right emotions.

Your product and niche have a lot of potential. Focus on refining your site’s messaging and optimizing the user journey. Sometimes, even small tweaks can make a big difference. Don’t lose hope—you're on the right track!

Hope this helps! Let me know if you need more tips. 😊
