Hi everyone, I'm close to the publication of my website at the end of the month, I just need to connect a clearing and do some small finishes in the design of the website.
I would love to know what you think about it, even though the site is intended for the Israeli audience and people who speak Hebrew only, what can I add? What is important to have on the website and not?
I would be more than happy to hear your opinion.
The address of the website is: audiox.co.il

Hi @Yonatan1,

I’m from Mageplaza, a Shopify solution expert.

I would be glad to review your website and provide feedback on improving its performance. Below are some suggestions:

1. Boost Mobile Speed and Performance

After reviewing your website with PageSpeed Insights, I found that the mobile performance score is around 40, which falls below the recommended benchmark of 60. Given that a large portion of your traffic comes from mobile users, this slow speed may be affecting their experience and, in turn, lowering your conversion rates. Slow load times can frustrate users, decreasing the chances of them completing purchases and ultimately impacting your sales.

To enhance your Shopify store's mobile performance, consider these steps:

  • Evaluate Your Store Theme: Some themes are more resource-heavy, which can impact load times. Choose a lightweight, mobile-friendly theme.
  • Optimize Installed Apps: While apps add functionality, too many can slow down your site. Review your installed apps and ensure they’re necessary and optimized.
  • Minimize Extra Code: Third-party scripts and tags can increase load times. Remove or minimize unnecessary code to improve performance.
  • Compress Images: Large image files can significantly slow down loading times. Use compressed images that maintain quality.
  • Professional Assistance: For tailored solutions, consider working with a professional who can help address performance issues specific to your store.

Following these steps will greatly improve your mobile site performance, leading to better user experiences and higher conversion rates. For more detailed guidance, check Shopify’s performance optimization recommendations.

2. Improving search bar

When I try to search, it takes a long second to load the products.

You should improve it by making larger product images, showing price and discount information, including brand search, collection search, etc functionality to enhance search bar. This will help customers find their needs quickly, enhancing their shopping experience. Below is a reference:

3. Add Promotional Sections on homepage

Add promotional features like best sellers, sale items, and new arrivals to grab visitors' attention. Make the "Add to Cart" button stand out, and ensure that pricing and discount labels are prominently displayed to encourage customers to make purchases. Here is a reference:

I hope some of my suggestions are helpful, feel free to give me any feedback.

Good luck!
