Hi I’m new and still trying to get the hang of things on Shopify, it makes me nervous not knowing what “Fulfillment in progress” means ( I know what it means but it seems confusing on here). I have a balance on my account so once I hit “fulfill” it should work. The problem is I don’t know when or if the status will change nor do I know how long that process takes. Does anyone have any idea? Or do I at least make any sense to anyone?? 🤦🏼♀️😅
Fulfillment in progress means you (or an app) requested fulfillment to a 3rd party fulfillment service.
That fulfillment service (or app) is responsible for updating the status when they ship it.

Thank you for getting in touch. Can you please confirm where exactly you are seeing this "fulfillment in progress" label? Are you seeing in within an individual order in the Orders section of the admin, or elsewhere (e.g. in an app)?
