what features or apps are good to use to bring sales to the store?

People keep telling me that there are some features I could be using on my store but not telling me what features. So what features should I be using or what apps should I use to bring sales to the store.

Here are some features and apps that I believe are important to bring in more sales for your store -

 

  1. Shopify Email Marketing - You can use Shopify's free email marketing feature to send emails to your subscribers about new products, deals, etc. You can send up to 10,000 emails per month for free. ($1 for 1,000 additional emails after that). This feature is available on all Shopify plans.
  2. Product Reviews - You can use apps like Judge.me to enable people to leave product reviews on your store. I highly recommend it as people use social proof to make a purchase decision.
  3. Upsell & Cross Sell - These apps will allow you to display add-ons or related items when a customer adds an item to the cart. This can help you increase sales for similar or complementary items. You can check out these apps Selleasy & Frequently Bought Together

Hello, I have had a look at your store and here are a few suggestions on how your store could be improved. 
1) There should be sections for latest arrivals and best sellers on the homepage. These would help customers to easily find products with these special qualifications.

2) There should be customer reviews on the homepage. This would help raise the level of trust and interest customers have in the store. 
3) You should show customers what others are doing in your store. This would help motivate them to take actions of their own in the store. You can do this by downloading the Show Recent Orders App here https://apps.shopify.com/show-recent-orders

Hi there,

 

A good feature can be improving the page experience that your prospects may have. For example, one of the elements that I find valuable is to have trust badges on your product pages. 

 

There are multiple things that makes a good client funnel, unfortunately, I don't think that anyone will be able to just magically make it happen - the people that you are talking about may be expecting to get some sort of value based on their advice, which wouldn't be unfair.

 

I'd recommend to get in touch with a web consultant or to check Hire Shopify Experts page. 

 

The following quote can be an insightful take-away:

"Behind every great marketer there is a great web programmer"

 

Short answer, no feature or app can bring magical sales overnight.

Unfortunately one of the most effective ways to bring sales to your store is paying for ads on platforms such as Google, Facebook and Instagram. I say unfortunately, as there is an upfront investment required.

 

One of the best places to start is to connect your catalog with these ad channels. You can do this for free, which means that you're products will be visible on your social pages and in Google Shopping.

 

Of course, this doesn't guarantee that people will see your products in those environments. Therefore, you'll need to start investing in ads to ensure that your target market sees your products.

 

Assuming that your product proposition is strong enough to bring people to your website, you're already in a good position.

 

Of course, we need to understand that very few people will purchase on the first occasion that they visit your website. Therefore, the next step will be to launch remarketing ad campaigns. These will surface in Google, Facebook & Instagram and will show users of those platforms the products that they were looking at on your site previously. This type of campaign typically has the highest returns.

 

By now, you'll probably have several campaigns live in various ad channels. You'll then need to consider using an app that helps you optimize the ad spend around those various campaigns, to ensure you are not wasting money on stuff that's not working.
