Re: How do I get reviews?

What is the best simple app to gather reviews for my website?

I tried installing the product reviews app a while ago but could never get it to work. I got a message today telling me I had to uninstall the app because it wouldn't work any more so I uninstalled it.

What app do I use to get reviews on my site? I want the stars and reviews to show up on Google since I do pay for Google Ads. I've looked in the past but I couldn't find anything that worked for me. I know nothing about coding or HTML or things like that so I need something simple to set up and get working. That was part of the problem with finding one that worked before so I need something easy.

Thank you,

Steve

I'd look at the following app on the Shopify app store.

All of these shouldn't require any coding knowledge and should have free plans available.

I am using Shopify and it seems they are ending their Product Reviews app which I could never get to work anyway. You gave me a few other options to check out though so thank you.

Yes I know the feeling, i was pretty satisfied with the simple "products reviews", but it is obvious that shopify is trying to push paid apps. I found one and im using it and it has google connection. If you had exported your previous reviews you had from" products reviews" you can import it to this new app and is FREE actually. I just used it 2 days mate, but looks okey, and similar to old one, with more features

Saleworm, thank you. That one looks good. I never got the product reviews to work so I'm starting all new but this looks like exactly what I'm looking for and the price is definitely right.

This is not free, it won't even install unless I upgrade. There's no way I'm paying for something that says it's free just to see if it works or not. It's a scam and people need to know it's a scam. When you say free it should be at least free to try but it won't even install. I clicked to uninstall and it's not uninstalling, it's like it's hung up and not doing anything and then just goes back to where you have to click the uninstall button again. Now I have to waste time trying to get this off my page. Don't waste your time!

After reading your problem, it is recommended to ask your customers manually to review your website. Trustpilot is a reliable platform where you can collect reviews. For this, you don't need coding. Just setup a free business account and copy-paste that business profile URL into the chat with customers. It will be easier for them to review your business by adding title and description.

I get how frustrating that can be! Finding a review app that works smoothly, especially without needing coding skills, is a real struggle. Since you’re running Google Ads and need reviews to show up there too, I’d recommend checking out MyBranz. It’s easy to set up (no HTML or coding needed) and makes sure your stars and reviews get displayed on your site and in Google Shopping/Ads.

Also, it helps keep you FTC-compliant with review rules, so you don’t have to worry about any of that. If you're after something simple that just works, could be a good fit for you.
