What's an efficient method for creating 301 redirects on deleted pages?

I am in the process of redesigning my company's website and have a few pages I'm deleting for which I am setting up 301 redirects. Is there an easier way to do this than delete a page then go to navigation>redirects and enter the deleted page url and redirect url? I see it can be done in a CSV, but that doesn't seem like it saves time if I'm only doing a handful.

Really this post may be more of a suggestion to Shopify to give a pop-up option to create a redirect when one clicks the "delete page" button. That functionality is already set-up when you change a page's url.
