What's the best way to collect data to apply personalised printing to the back of sports shirts?

We're selling esports shirts and offer an option to have their GamerTag included in the design on the reverse of their shirt (see below), exactly the same as is the case for sports. I'm just not sure what the best way is to collect this unique data. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Shopify' Built-In Option "line item properties" you can try which allow customers to input custom information (like a GamerTag) during the product purchase process. Also you can try another method like having custom form on Product Page.
