What will happen if I didn't pay?

Hello, I made my shopify store and choosed the basic plan.. but the store didn't work as I thought and I can't pay my bills now.. what would happen if I didn't pay? 

Will u freeze my account until I become ready and able to pay for it or will the bills get higher for the months I don't pay? Cuz I couldn't close the store while there's bills not paid
