Hello,

@Shopify

Does anybody know when shopify payments will be avaiable in Poland? We would like to offer our products to different countrier in other currencies but if the store is located in Poland we are not give any chances to do that.

Thanks,

Wiktor

This is an accepted solution.

We are also struggling with payments in Poland. You need to be a Polish resident to qualify for anything. if you are a company Director overseas it is very difficult. Has anyone else experienced this?

Any Chance you made the progress with Shopify Payments in Poland? So many European countries have ability to use this option as well as shopify shipping and we are still ignored..

Hi, @INLAQ_COM.

Thanks for reaching out about this. I appreciate your interest in Shopify Payments' expansion, though at this stage I'm unable to confirm or share any details about the future of our payment gateway and its offering. In saying this, I've shared your feedback internally with the relevant development team so that they're aware of your request and the growing interest of Shopify Payments in Poland.

I recommend bookmarking our Changelog here so that you can keep up to date with the latest releases to our platform. You can also use the Payments filter on the right hand-side of the page to filter out our payment-related only releases.

I definitely understand the need to allow customers to purchase on your store in their local currency too. As Shopify Payments is a requirement for this, there isn't currently a workaround that you can implement on your store to help achieve this. In the meantime however, we encourage users to explore a range of currency converter apps on our Shopify App Store here. It's important to keep in mind that these apps will mostly just display a different currency to customers up until checkout, so customers are still required to checkout in the store's default currency if Shopify Payments isn't present and active. If you'd like to explore this option further though, I recommend starting with this currency converter app, and this one too, to see if they'll suit your store's needs.

Hi Kimi,

Is there any chance this will be enabled soon.

Not having shopify payments, and in effect no way to have currency control is dealbraker in Europe.

Launching multiple stores just to have it is not the way to go.

Hello, Kimi.

It is really a big issue for Polish clients. I saw the same question from 2 years ago and still there is no progress on this. It is a shame to ignore a big 40 million people population country in Europe...

I think you should allow payments in two currencies with different provider until you implement Shopify payments. That would be wise. Maybe some polish provider. Split the income from commissions between two of your companies and finally you could start providing full value program to the Polish market. Or with stripe to all of the countries that you are still unable to deliver Shopify payments for some reason.

I am reaching out to seek guidance on setting up my Shopify store based in Poland to efficiently handle sales to customers in the UK and Poland with specific currency requirements. I am currently subscribed to the Shopify Basic Plan and exploring the best way to integrate multi-currency functionalities and third-party payment gateways, given Shopify Payments is not available in Poland.

  1. Multi-Currency Sales: I need to sell to UK customers in GBP and to Polish customers in PLN. Could you please confirm if Shopify Markets or any other Shopify tool supports this functionality on a single store setup? I am interested in understanding both the customer-facing and backend implications, such as displaying prices, handling checkouts, and managing currency conversions.

  2. Third-Party Payment Gateways: Since Shopify Payments is not an option for Poland, I would appreciate recommendations for third-party payment gateways that integrate well with Shopify for handling transactions in both GBP and PLN. An essential requirement is that these gateways should facilitate seamless currency conversions and be capable of incorporating the respective VAT calculations for each market.

  3. Pricing and VAT Configuration: Additionally, I aim to include VAT in the displayed prices for my UK customers while adhering to the VAT exemption for Polish customers until the threshold is reached. How can I set this up so that the pricing and VAT adjustments are accurately reflected based on the customer's location?

To summarise, Polish based Store with primary Currency Set in PLN, in shopify markets when trying to activate UK markets it says I cant change currency to GBP in UK markets without shopify payments, so how do I fix this?

We want to set up a shop via Shopify pretty soon. One market will be certainly Poland. So is there a Shopify payment for Poland or not? And if not, can we insert third party providers, like Przelewy24 and Blik and Paypal, ... It's absolutely need for the Polish market.
