All things Shopify and commerce
I want to see my actual revenue per month.
Is the Total Sales in Analytics in the Shopify main menu my actual sales?
I want to know how much of the orders I received from the first to the last day of the month were shipped to actual customers, excluding returns and cancellations.
As we all know, when an order is canceled or returned, I am responsible for the Payment Fees.
I want to know my actual sales excluding all these loss fees.
I would be very grateful if someone could explain this to me in detail.
Thank you for your reply.
If a customer places an order on April 20, and I ship it on April 27, but the customer returns it on May 3 with a return request, then does that order count as a return in my May sales?
Hey, @jtemzusa
Great question! Sales display in your sales reports as a positive value for the day that they were made, and returns display as a negative value for the day that they were processed. If you processed the return on May 3rd, then it would be reflected in your May reporting.
If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.
