Where do I input data for fields that appear in the product export?

When I export details for any selection of products in our Shopify shop, in addition to basic product details, a number of additional fields appear including:

• SEO Title
• SEO Description
• Google Shopping / Google Product Category
• Google Shopping / Gender
• Google Shopping / Age Group
• ...and many more

Where can I input details for these and how are they used? Are the Google Shopping ones being fed to Google?

SEO title and description, can be edited on your product details.

All Google related attributes, can be edited in the Google and Youtube app, and click on manage products, now you can add / update this info,

Great - that was helpful! I'm not seeing Age Group or Gender as field options in the Google & YouTube app, but an error message referencing those fields. Any ideas where I should look? Or do I have to go directly to the Google shopping feed? Thanks again!

Most likely you need to add the columns.

If you want to edit product details without editing Shopify, do it manually in GMC. Here is a video explaining all the ways to edit data:

Basically, we're trying to optimize our SEO and add keywords into our product title/name/page without making our product pages looking crazy. For example, this search result for a competitor includes a lot more keywords than appear on the product page. Where is Google pulling the search result copy from? Is it from a feed populated via Shopify?
