Hi, I have my custom domain and shopify domain (xxx.myshopify.com) both verified with Facebook Business Manager. Now in Events Manager, where events are configured, there is an option to either use my custom domain and the shopify domain. Which one to use or both?

This is a great question. The short answer is, both!
Facebook’s Aggregated Event Measurement is a protocol that allows for the measurement of web events from iOS 14 users. It limits domains to 8 conversion events that can be prioritized for conversion optimization. Domain verification is the method that establishes which Business Manager account has the authority to configure and prioritize the 8 conversion events for a given domain. It also prevents the situation where multiple Business Accounts can edit this configuration at the same time.
The 8 event limitation applies to the primary domain (for example, shopify.com) and includes all subdomains (for example shop.myshopify.com). The primary domain is also known as the effective top-level domain plus one (eTLD+1).
