Hello @hyakas_9 , Hope you are doing well.
When it comes to building an eCommerce website for selling bamboo and wooden kitchenware, using a ready-made theme would be a good option as it can save you time and effort. However, if you want a unique and personalized website, then a customized website with coding would be the best option. But, it depends on your expertise in which language you want to prefer for the coding.
If you go with Shopify then you must be aware of the Liquid coding.

Hello and welcome to the Shopify platform!
For most people, the free Dawn theme is great for new stores! It is packed with features and Shopify updates it frequently with new features as well. All themes on Shopify are built with the Liquid coding language. So you wouldn't need to worry about other coding languages when dealing with themes. This is also the same for security, shopify handles almost all things related to security so you won't have to worry about much unless you are developing an app or on the Shopify Plus platform.
If you want a quick and affordable option, go with a ready-made theme from platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce—they’re easy to use and customizable. For full control and unique features, a custom-coded website is better, using secure languages like PHP (Laravel), Python (Django), or JavaScript (Node.js). A hybrid option—customizing a ready-made theme—can give you the best of both worlds. If you’re starting out, ready-made themes are a great way to launch quickly and upgrade later as your business grows.
Good luck with your kitchenware site!
