I seem to be getting 6 separate "shopify transaction fees" for every order that I get. I've only had my Shopify since November when I switched from WIX so I'm pretty new to Shopify but this doesn't seem right... I also can't seem to find a rep to chat with online which is frustrating as Im trying to resolve multiple issues so that I can do/pay my taxes. Any info regarding these issues would be great at this point. THANKS!
@Locks-of-Liz so, typically, there a few fees that come in to play when owning a Shopify store:
1. The monthly cost of the store. If you're on the starter plan, thats $29/month
2. App costs for any paid apps your store may be using.
3. Cost of shipping the items to the customers
4. Transaction fee (if you are on the starter plan, this is 2.9% +.30 cents per sale). This rate can be reduced with a higher Shopify monthly plan
5. Processing fee. This fee comes into play if you are not using the Shopify payments processor. This is a 2% fee that gets added in addition to the transaction fee.
These fees gets lumped together in a regular billing cycle but you can visit the finances tab to see a breakdown of your bill and where each of the charges comes from. But, as far as fees on the actual payment processing goes, you should only be receiving 1-2 fees (depending on whether or not you are using Shopify payments).

Thank you David, I did look at the help page with that information but that's not exactly the issue I'm seeing, I don't think. I'm aware of all the fees but these specific fees seem to be associated with orders placed and they are all the same amount deducted 6 separate times the day after every order. So let say I have an order today, tomorrow I will have 6 "card fees" of the same amount deducted from my business account consecutively. And the fee amount deducted depends on the order amount too. Not sure if its an app fee as it doesn't say but what ever fee it is, it should only be charged once I would think, not 6 times in a row per order... Hope that makes sense. I really wish I could speak to some customer support... any help getting my to talk to a rep?
@Locks-of-Liz in that case, its gonna be best if you speak to a support agent as I can't speak to your account without seeing it for myself. Shopify does offer customer support. You can visit https://www.shopify.com/contact and click "Contact Support" and it will guide you to getting in touch with an agent.
