Why are all my product images missing from my Google merchant account?

For the past week or so my Google merchant account shows that 173 products, basically all my products, are missing an image link value.

 

As far as I understand and as it was till the error apeared the first image in each products page is being used as an image link value by Google. 

 

I've discussed this error with a support representative in Shopifys live chat and I was told that he will get an answer from Shopifys merchant center team or something similar and reply tomorrow.

Three days have passed while I've placed my Google add campaign on pose due to this error and I'm not answered wether someone addresses the issue or not.

There is a ticket number yet no one answers any question.

I don't know if you are indicating you still have the issues, as you said you are waiting for a reply. The reply side of things, as this is the community, we can not help you with. As community members don't work for Shopify nor Google.

 

My recommendation, if you need a reply, is to kindle ask for an update.

 

As to missing images, that is a strange one. If you still have the issue in Google Merchant Center > products > Diagnostics (GMC Classic) or Needs Attention (GMC Next)

Then the feed app you are using, has issues. My recommendation if you can not fix the issue with the app you are currently using.

For my clients I use: https://apps.shopify.com/multiple-google-shopping-feeds

 

If you are using the google and youtube app, maybe try to uninstall / install it. See if that fixes.

The problem is that there is no reply from Shopifys support team. 

I write for the community cause potential clients who consider oparating a business through Shopify should be aware of this problem and Shopify must provide better service in that aspect. 

 

The support service provided is simply horrible.

Every Shopify customer pays for a working platform and deserves to enjoy such.

When a certain issue is being handled by the support team each message is replied by a different support representative who does not read the former messages and provide unrelated answers so the total customer experience is terrible. Simple issues takes ages to solve and nothing is being addressed properly.

 The account that was banned before opened a new account and keep on sending me unreliable offers.
