All things Shopify and commerce
We have a lot of customers saying they didn't receive the order confirmation.
We haven't changed anything to the standard setup. Is there anything other we can do?
It's very irritating because people automatically think they get scammed when they don't receive it.
Thanks for the help in advance!
Greetings,
Sander

If a lot of customers are reporting that they are not receiving order confirmation emails from your Shopify store, there are a few things you can check to try and resolve the issue:
1. Check your email settings
Make sure your email notifications are enabled in your Shopify settings. Go to "Settings" > "Notifications" and ensure that the relevant notifications are turned on.
2. Check your spam filters
It's possible that the order confirmation emails are being marked as spam by your customers' email providers. Ask your customers to check their spam or junk folders to see if the email is there.
3. Check your email service provider
If you're using a third-party email service provider, check to see if there are any issues with their service that could be causing the emails to not be delivered.
4. Verify your email domain
Ensure that your email domain is verified with Shopify to avoid emails being rejected or marked as spam.
5. Consider using a third-party email service
You can use a third-party email service such as Klaviyo to send order confirmation emails. These services have advanced features that can help ensure that your emails are delivered to your customers' inboxes.
If the issue persists, you may want to reach out to Shopify support for further assistance. It's important to resolve this issue quickly as it can impact customer trust and confidence in your store.

Good luck trying to reach out for customer service.
We started having the same issue beginning on 3/7 - wondering if it's possible there's something up with Shopify's email server?
Edit: sorry I read the date wrong and thought this was from this year 😓
