All things Shopify and commerce
I have been facing a problem with product images on my Shopify store. Whenever I upload a new image, it is appearing blurry on the front end. Has anyone else faced this issue and found a solution for it?

Hi @wiz22
This is Kate from PageFly - Landing page builder, I’d like to suggest this idea:
It seems that Shopify compresses product images to reduce their size and improve page load times. However, this compression can cause the images to appear blurry. To resolve this, you can try uploading images with a resolution of 72 pixels per inch and with dimensions that match the size you want them to display on your store. Additionally, you can use image editing tools like Adobe Photoshop to adjust the image quality before uploading it. This should help to reduce image blurriness on your store.
Hope my answer will help you!

So I'm uploading images at as much as 300 dpi (72 was what was blurry) and are 10x10 inches (which is much bigger than what I'll display). I had some images upload fine and others are blurry. Any thoughts?
I have the same issue. Thing is it's only happening (the pixelization) on iPhone devices ONLY! On Andriod the logo is crystal clear, while on "any" iPhone the logo looks super blurry 😞
Help?! anyone pls.
I've noticed that Shopify compresses product images to make them smaller and improve page loading speed. Unfortunately, this can sometimes lead to blurry images.
Therefore, You can use different images for mobile view and desktop view. At www.emerdepot.com - a Medical Supply store website- we face the same problem. Our developer team suggests having 2 different images for the banner(mobile view & desktop view).
What about across the board? I've uploaded at the resolution recommended by shopify (1024x1024 for collection images and 2048x2048 for products ) and yet they are blurry. Super frustrating. In fact, SOME images show just fine while others, created the same way and uploaded the same way, are not...
I had the same issue and the solution I found was as follows ;
DO NOTHING, WAIT A FEW MINUTES.
I was ready to pull my hair out with another problem to solve but just waiting a bit and the image quality improved.
