Why are my products appearing in all collections unexpectedly?

Hi guys I need some help everytime I add a product to my shopify store and even though my links and tags and collections and everything are correctly linked and everything is in order somehow the products still show up on all my other collections when it was not suppose to and its really annoying I've been struggling with this issue for over a week now any suggestions on what to do?

First thing that comes to mind is to check each collection. Go to the collection in your admin panel and make sure only the products you want are shown there. If not, you might have "auto add" on and Shopify will automatically add the products to all collections. 

If not, this could be due to a number of reasons.

How do I switch auto add off or where do u even check if it is on?

If your collection has conditions, then it is Auto. You have to remake the collection and decide when creating it.

I'm using the dawn theme

No, this doesn't have to do with the theme. In your Shopify admin go to Products > Collections and you should be on the same page as the image. This is where you can see.

It doesn't say anything it's just collections that are here

So if you don't see any conditions there then your collections are manual. Click into the collections and you should then see the products that are added to each collection. Double check and make sure they are correct. 

If you have the correct products in the correct collections then we know the issue is your liquid code.

Yes all the products are in the correct collections how can I rectify this
issue with the liquid code?
