All things Shopify and commerce
We are really desperate for some assistance.
I'm In Australia, have had our store for quite a few years
This months shopify invoices just keep getting rejected no matter how we try to pay them. We have tried multiple credit cards, multiple accounts and even borrowed family members credit cards, ( different card provider, different financial institution). They are all failing. We are at our wits end.
The "help" we have received from the help centre has been absolutely dire.
I just dont know what to do. I have tried to pay this bill manually dozens of times and every three days it fails.
They claim its the bank but then also claim theres only one record of any payment attempt.
Apparently theres no way in which an issue can be escalted, as I have formally requested that multiple times. I have been told there are no managers/supervisors.
We did have the currency in AU$ but changed back to $US, to no avail.
I just dont know what to do. I cant get anywhere with them
I dont know what I can do and i fear loosing my business. Can anyone help?

Hello, @Fiona_Krawczuk
I understand the urgency of your situation. Here’s a concise action plan to address the Shopify payment issue:
Keep all transaction records and correspondence for reference. If the issue persists, consider seeking legal advice to explore further options.
none of those were the issue 🙂
Check Payment Details: Double-check the payment details you entered, including the credit card number, expiration date, CVV code, and billing address. Ensure that all information is accurate and up to date.
Sufficient Funds: Make sure that the payment method you used has sufficient funds or credit available to cover the payment amount. Insufficient funds can cause a payment to fail.
Contact Payment Provider: If you are using a specific payment provider or service concrete floor grinder, such as a credit card company or online payment platform, reach out to their customer support. They can help troubleshoot the issue and provide information on why the payment failed.
Update Payment Method: If your payment method has expired, been canceled, or is no longer valid, update it with a new payment method that is active and has sufficient funds. Follow the instructions provided by the payment provider to update your payment information.
All of those things were done
, repeatedly
The problem is entirely on shopifys side. ;(
I am having the exact same issue every month. To the point that my store becomes frozen despite having appropriate funds in the account. I have tried to talk to Shopify about this as it is clearly a Shopify error but to no avail. I have had a store for 6 years and never had an issue with automatic or manual bill payment until this year. Did you find a resolution for this problem?
Hey, just for clarification, how you go about swapping btwn paypal and the card?
I just altered which one was the principal payment method a few times 🙂
None of those were the issue.
