Why aren't variant images aligning correctly after CSV import?

Hello All ...

I import products via CSV, and i had uploaded product's images to Shopify files section beforehand.

The CSV contains the proper Shopify image links for each variant of the product. The images are included in the product's media section , and the main image of the product is assigned correctly , though variant images are not assigned to corresponding variants.

I had made several tries, changing the order of upload (images then product , and product then images) , but always a failure.

Am i missing something here ?

I see that this is an old message, but for anyone that stumbles upon this, to assign images to your product variants you need a column called 'Variant Image'. You can see more on this in the documentation here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/import-export/using-csv#variant-image
